Heavy-duty cross members are placed every 16 inches and joined to the pontoons with stainless steel bolts to deliver superior strength. In contrast to a welded aluminum joint, all Landau pontoons utilize this attachment process to ensure lasting durability. The Landau "U" shaped pontoon formation provides a smooth ride with less drag than a round pontoon. This reduction in water "lap-over" translates into enhanced speed and fuel economy. Additionally, all Landau pontoons are foam-filled providing for an extra measure of safety. |
