| Fishing In The Lake | |
| Good | Crappie - There are some crappie being caught in the lake with tube jigs and minnows. |
| Very Good | Catfish - A lot of catfish are being caught in the lake. Trot line fishing has been excellent. Bait them with cut shad, shad gut or leeches. Pole and line fishermen are doing well drifting with shrimp and fishing close to the banks, about 3-4' deep with crickets, minnows or night crawlers. |
| Good | Bluegill - Some bluegill are being caught on wax worms. |
| Fishing In The
Spillway There is currently one lock open. |

| Excellent | White Bass - People are catching a lot of white bass around the dam. Rooster tails and curly tail jigs have been good baits to use. |
| Very Good | Crappie - The are guite a few crappie being caught from the river. Minnows and tube jigs have been good baits to use. |
| Very Good | Catfish - Some catfish are being caught in the river on cut bait or shad gut. Sonny's or Geno's have also been good baits to use. |
| Good | Bluegill - Some bluegill are being caught on wax worms. |
| Excellent | Sauger - Curly tail jigs tipped with minnows or night crawlers have been the best bait to use. The area between the dam and the suspension bridge is the best place to fish for sauger or walleye. Some real nice ones (about 20") have been brought in recently. |
A 36" Musky was caught from the river recently.
